Kurt Perschke's RedBal project in Chicago :)It is a huge red ball traveling all around the world. From September 1 - 25, the ball will be in Chicago and also on IIT main campus :D

REDBALL is pretty cool, that's for sure. My Mother (hip at 79) and I bussed it down to IIT - where creativ-IIT-y seems to be key not only on the Campus where you can see those huge Chess & Checker Boards but how the Sphere fit perfectly under the Double L-Train Track. What was also amazing was that People were super friendly. Altho some did crazy things like jump on the Ball, pound it, punch it, pat it and climb up on the supporting Beams it was sandwiched between, you have to admit: The Ball helped break The Ice - even on a 80 degree Day in the City of Big Shoulders.
