French Lunch

Today the 25th of April there was the French Lunch organized by FRA :D
It deals with a typical french lunch (petite quiche, beef or salmon, potatoes, green beans, fruit tarte, creme brulee and etc ... :P)
Something like that (without the dessert ...):

And this day was so exceptional that it is also Christophe's birthday :P

Poker at home :D

So poker party between roomate ... :P

Some become nervous ... maybe because they are losing xD. By the way, great play especially Aline ;) who finish 2nd at both games :D
David and I just finished once first and once last ... :S and Clement seems to like the 3rd place ;)

Crepe party for Taste of IIT

The day before Taste of IIT: Crepe party :P
Approximately 100 crepes (i think) were done for Taste of IIT and finally crepes were sold easily :D





But some person(s) prefer(s) to play with our roomate ... :P .... hmmm i wonder who it is :D

French lunch publicity and ticket sales

French lunch !!!
So it is the most important event of the French Association :D To make it popular, just take a sandwich man like in the photo (thank you Alexis you are so brave xD) and finally all the tickets were sold out :D (good job everyone and it seems that everybody reminds the sandwich man :P)

Bulls VS Cavaliers

April 11th 2008 was one of the last match of the Bulls this season: BULLS VS CAVALIERS. In the Cavaliers team , one very popular player is Lebron James: during the first quarter, he gave 24 points his team ... and it was almost the whole number of points gained by the Bulls at this time...

It was one of the most exciting match of the Bulls (even if I only saw one previous match of the Bulls :P), many beautiful actions like dunk or alley oop (in chinese it is 空中灌篮 i think, thanks you 灌篮高手... :P).
You should know that if the Bulls win with more than 100 points, everybody gets a BigMac :D and it was hot to get this one :P, one point needed in less than 23 seconds ...
but finally, they did it !!! Yahouuuuuuuuuu one free BigMac :D

"Crepe" party at Belmont

This Sunday it was crepe party at Belmont :)
It was a kind of training before the Taste of IIT since crepe will be sold during this event. Finally it wasn't too hard to do it ... :PCarrie don't stress !!! because we all get nervous and need a massage :P
And for the next design, we will be there to give you a massage ( I mean Mr G. :P)

And thanks Belmont guys for the party, it was great ;)

A previous summer...

Hey seems that the summer is coming... get a very nice weather today. So homework and project can wait :)

Pre-event IIT Commencement 2008

April, 1st corresponds to the day when we picked up our regalia (cap and gown) for the graduation day on May the 17th. This event waas followed by a free food and free activities at the bog until 6pm.

And if someone has nothing to do the 17th of May and want to see the graduation ceremony, i got some extra tickets so that they can take some pictures xD

Each ticket and regalia has a definite color according to the department:
IIT Armour College of Engineering
- Electrical and Computer Enginnering: ORANGE
- Mechanical Engineering: DARK BLUE
- Civial, Architectural Engineering: DARK GREEN
- Chemical and Biological Engineering: WHITE
- Biomedical Engineering: BLACK
IIT Center for Professional Development: CRIMSON
IIT College of Architecture: LAVENDER
IIT College of Science and letters
- Biological, Chemical, and Physical Sciences: LIGHT GREEN
- Computer Science: YELLOW
- Social Science and Applied Mathematics: LIGHT BLUE

Finally as you can see the tickets got the correct color but not one part of my regalia (the dress)...
Seems that they believed that I am from the Stuart School of Business ... but nevermind I am not against receiving 2 degrees :P
